About Linn

Hello, again

I’m Linn D, an illustrator and concept artist. I draw line, ink, and things I find beautiful, usually inspired by nature, stories, and the little moments that bring joy.

I trained in printmaking and oil painting at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, then earned my MA in concept art for game development at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I went on to spend ten years as a concept artist, at companies like 2K Games and Tencent TiMi Studio.

Now I run Linn D Studio, my independent art business. Since 2025 I’ve taken my table to eight conventions, opened an online shop, and built a merch line that I design and produce myself. I also mentor artists who want to do the same, who want a studio job of their own, or who are applying to art school. And I tattoo, too.
