1:1 mentorship

I spent ten years as a senior concept artist at companies like 2K Games and Tencent TiMi Studio. Now I run an independent art business: eight conventions since 2025, an online shop, and a merch line I design and produce myself.

I teach both sides of that. On one side: concept design, and portfolios for studio jobs or art school applications. On the other: how to make a living selling your own work.

I’ve guided students through their portfolios and interview prep, and in my studio jobs I’ve interviewed candidates myself, so I know what schools and companies look for. Starting my own business has also taught me plenty that I’m happy to share.

Six sessions toward one goal: learning concept design, building a portfolio, preparing for interviews, or selling your own work. Keep going after that at the same rate.

How it works

  1. Email me a link to your work, what you’re working toward, and two or three questions you’d like to cover.
  2. I’ll look through your work and write back. If talking it through would help, we’ll set up your free 15-minute call.
  3. We choose a portfolio review or mentorship, pick a time, and get started.

Illustration & merch design

I draw artwork that’s made to become a real object: silk scarves, charms, coasters, stickers, and more. Because I produce my own line, I design for the print file from the very first sketch.

  1. Tell me about your project and I’ll send a quote. A 50% deposit starts the work.
  2. You approve a sketch before I move on to final art.
  3. Each design includes two rounds of revisions.
  4. You pay the balance and receive print-ready files.
